Gifts for Rachel’s Birthday!

February 17, 2017 Leave a Comment Written by rch

Thank you to the Sierra Club and Pittsburgh’s East End Co-Op for joining us to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Rachel’s birthday. And, of course, to all those who stopped by – including out-of-town and first-time visitors.

This year we had a performer, Joyce Rouse, who, while “teaching important concepts about sustainability, recycling, and eco-spirituality, Earth Mama music taps into balanced brain learning for humor, creativity and deeper memory.” With an advanced degree in Earth Literacy, her entertainment is educational and something the entire family can enjoy. Check out her YouTube channel.

It’s never too soon to start planning for next year’s birthday. If you’ll be in the area over Memorial Day weekend, plan on visiting us then.
