Donate

First, THANK YOU for any donation! Every donation is important, regardless of size. Maintaining a 160+ year old house is an on-going challenge, as is keeping educational programs current.

Donate –  Donations of any amount are welcome.

It is easy to think of philanthropy as something done by the very wealthy, or big foundations, or prosperous companies. Actually, less than 20% of the funds to nonprofits come from foundation grants, and barely 5% from corporations. The rest – nearly 80%—is from individuals.

And among individual givers in the U.S., while the wealthy do their part, the vast predominance of offerings come from average citizens of moderate income.
