The new roof is finished! We’re grateful the old one held out. We also have a new “classroom” and trail signs. A restored front porch will continue efforts to make this landmark a destination deserving of Rachel Carson’s name. Take a look
We normally celebrate this anniversary at Rachel Carson’s birthplace when possible. This is where she discovered her sense of wonder and began to develop her environmental ethic. It’s difficult to imagine the world without the legacy of Rachel Carson.
