The Sense of Wonder Trail behind the Homestead is a small walking trail open daily until dusk. Enjoy the new signs!

The Homestead will re-open after Pennsylvania's state-wide closure of nonessential businesses is lifted. Thanks for understanding!

This well-fed springhouse was the source of household water into the 1930s. Built before the Carsons lived here, the interior brick needs repair. The well recharges and could be function again.
